An ETBM (Extreme TBM) imported from Andrea Rossi, one of Europe's well-known Trichocereus collectors and breeders. The "E" stands for "Extreme," a name given to this clone because of its oversized, exaggerated monstrose growth.

The story

Unlike standard TBMs, ETBM is known for producing thick, chunky growth with unpredictable monstrose character. It will throw heavy spines on one section, then go smooth again on the next — no two columns of it match.

    A blue-green ETBM stem low in the bark mulch, its long pale spines splayed out from the areoles and a cluster of small green fruits at one of them, with the wooden tag reading ETBM standing in the mulch against it.
