The yard
Mysterious Yard is my small cactus nursery in California. Everything here is grown outdoors in full sun, and I only list plants I would be happy to receive myself.
Most of what I grow is Trichocereus — bridgesii, pachanoi, peruvianus and the named clones and crosses collectors look for. I collect, grow, graft and trade with other growers, and cuttings come off mother plants that have been in the yard for years.
Every listing is the exact plant you receive: photographed as it actually is, measured, and callused before it ships. If you are not sure a piece is right for you, message me first.

55 named clones growing here. Not all of them are listed at once — cuttings go up as they are taken.
TBMA
If you're a fan of the classic long-form TBMA look, this is a nice one. It's got that unmistakable growth habit that collectors know for its long, smooth, goofy-looking shape.
TBMB
TBMB (Trichocereus bridgesii monstrose 'B') grows in knobby, stacked segments, and no two plants take the same shape.
Eileen
Eileen is one of the classic Australian Trichocereus cultivars — a vigorous, blue-green column that grows clean and straight without any fuss.
SS02
Sold as a peruvianus selection — one of the originals out of Sacred Succulents, and that is the name it still travels under. The plant is a bridgesii, which is how it is filed here. A parent behind several of the modern funk hybrids in this collection. Grown here in the ground in full sun, where it pups freely from the base.
Y2K
A sought-after mutant clone selected by Toadstool Todd from Misplant's Kimnach × (SS02 × SS01) seed batch.
Ogun
Ogun is a well-regarded clone in its own right; the plants grown here are the variegated form.
TBMA Revert
A partially rooted revert off TBMA. A revert carries the same genetics as the monstrose clone but grows in normal ribs, and it usually grows faster for it. Reverts turn up far less often than the standard monstrose form.
TBMC
The famous Trichocereus bridgesii monstrose cristata. Every crest folds its own way, and no two plants end up alike. In California full sun, established plants grow dense and full as long as the watering is kept right.
ETBM (Extreme TBM)
An ETBM (Extreme TBM) imported from Andrea Rossi, one of Europe's well-known Trichocereus collectors and breeders. The "E" stands for "Extreme," a name given to this clone because of its oversized, exaggerated monstrose growth.
TBHP
A Cocac line hybrid that never grows the same way twice: it will terminate a head, throw a fasciated section, or run a perfectly normal column, depending on the conditions it is in. That unpredictability is the whole reason people want it.
CSD
CSD is one of the most sought-after Trichocereus bridgesii clones in the hobby. " Mature plants are known for their thick, wrinkled, almost monstrous growth and the characteristic melty look that makes CSD instantly recognizable.
Jim's Twin Spines
A bridgesii clone named for the paired spines that sit at each areole — the name tells you exactly what to look for.
