About this plant

An Australian bridgesii, and the easiest one here to keep through a wet winter — Eileen takes heavy watering and overhead sprinklers that would mark most of the species, as long as the mix drains. The stems run unusually thick for a bridgesii, the spines are short and often just one to an areole, and it will sometimes throw a four-ribbed section instead of the usual count.
