Addington

Addington is reportedly a New Zealand , named for the Christchurch suburb where the parent stand grew. It reportedly has blue-green and spines that stay short on young growth but lengthen as columns get big, and it flowers dependably in a temperate maritime climate.

The longer version

Species: described as intermediate between and Trichocereus .

A similar-looking plant taken from the same grower's property was named Lincoln, and growers report small visual differences between the two.

The mother stand threw occasional branches, but taken from them are reported to go back to ordinary ribbed growth.
