BBB is not a selected so much as a surviving line from Bouncing Bear Botanicals, a Kansas vendor that imported a wide range of cacti in the early 2000s and stopped trading in 2010. Its plants persisted in private collections and were propagated again from 2019 by grower Eric Myers.
