DDD is reportedly a mutant form that appeared on a mature short-form TBM-b stand in Southern California and was isolated over two years by a Southern California grower.

Character

Skin
Reportedly light green, and liable to black spots if poked, exactly as TBM-b is.
Ribs
It reportedly forms a mouth-shaped tip rather than the smooth tip indentation of the short form.
Growth habit
Reportedly monstrous growth with notches and irregular rib patterns, taller and more columnar than the short form, terminating wide and blocky with no indentation and from the sides.
Notes
Stability: every slab, tip, butt graft and is reported to have pupped true to the mutant form, never reverting to ordinary TBM-b.
