Character

Growth habit
Reportedly very thick columns that stay thick even in shade. Reportedly, planted in the ground it holds water well and needs little irrigation to stay plump, and in a pot it soon outgrows the container.
Drawing of two plain Trichocereus columns of different heights, standing for the wider genus rather than one plant.
A Trichocereus column, drawn — not a photograph of this plant.

Every photo shows another grower how this one really grows. Thank you.
