Stems unusually thick for the species, and where most bridgesii mark and in the damp this one takes heavy watering and wet winters in a free-draining mix. In this yard it is a vigorous column that grows clean and straight without any fuss.Seen in my own yard.

It is grouped with the Australian bridgesii Bruce, and the two may have come out of related seed.
Eileen is described as rarely flowering for most Australian growers, though flowering and deliberate breeding with it have both been reported.

The clone comes from Australia. More precisely, it reportedly comes from Colac in Victoria.
