Peruvianus Rick Yo

Rick Yo is reportedly a peruvianus that changes its spines with the light: the same grows a distinctly short-spined form in the dimmer conditions growers in northern Europe report, and a longer-spined one in bright ones. It is grown in several countries, so two photographs of it may be showing two climates rather than two plants. Good airflow is reportedly advised along with the usual free-draining mix and infrequent deep watering.
