Suzy Q is reportedly a colourful flowering hybrid grown from seed by Cactus Ron, with an Echinopsis a generation back in its ancestry. It reportedly makes a columnar plant that reaches roughly six inches thick, freely from the base, and carries spines that emerge red and age to a blackish red. The flowers are reportedly the point of it: very large, deep pink in bud and pink inside and out. Its immediate parents are reportedly not named.
