Also written as T. peruvianus 'TA01', Trichocereus Australia 01

TA01 is reportedly an Australian whose code marks its source, Australia, which gave it this name to end a clash with a separate Peruvian seed-grown line that carried the same label. It reportedly builds into thick, heavy specimens and is valued as a breeding parent, particularly in crosses with Sharxx Blue that are sought after for long, prominent spines. Reportedly, started in winter root slowly, often taking a couple of months to show roots as spring begins.
